More than just a bookshop!

Our commitment is to be the number one supplier to all the churches and schools in Portsmouth for all the Christian resources they need. A Word to the Wise opened in December 2005.

Book and Gift Shop

A well-stocked and inviting shop - why not just pop in and have a look round. You'll be surprised at just how many items we have.

We keep a large number of items in stock and also take orders. Just contact us with your details and include your phone number. Once payment is made over the phone we order the item for your next-day collection. Simple and convenient.

Coffee shop

Great for a refreshing cuppa or a 'real' cup of coffee and biscuits. Just right for meeting your friends or finding new ones.

Whilst we cannot serve lunches in our café we have no objection to customers bringing their own packed lunches to eat with us.

Prayer

There is always someone available to pray with customers - on request.

Emergency food hamper

Courtesy of Portsmouth Family Church, we keep an emergency food hamper for anyone in need.
